OUR MISSION

At Ask Father Finance, our mission is to empower families with financial insight, introduce effective tools and strategies, and connect families with timely products, reviews and solutions that support them in every stage of their lives. We strive to take the complexities out of finance by providing clear, honest, and practical information that helps families make wise, informed decisions.

Just as a father leads and guides his household, we aim to lead families toward financial stability, long-term security, and a lasting legacy.

OUR VISION

At Ask Father Finance we envision a future where every family can feel confident making financial decisions and be prepared, able and ready to build a secure and fulfilling financial future.

OUR STORY

Before creating Ask Father Finance, my life took me through a path I never could have predicted—but one that prepared me perfectly for this mission. I served in the U.S. Army, taught elementary school, spent five years as a financial advisor, earned my MBA, got married, and became a father to five incredible kids. My wife and I have now been married for 11 wonderful years.

In those early years, any time I talked about financial topics, my wife’s eyes would glaze over—not because she wasn’t capable, but because her gifts were focused on caring for our children, managing our home, and being the steady heart of our family. She was exceptional in her role, just as my passion naturally leaned toward protecting and providing for our family’s financial future.

Over time, I realized something important: while I took the lead financially, together we were leading our family spiritually, emotionally, socially, and morally. That unity shaped us. And it reshaped me.

As our family grew, my priorities shifted. I wanted to stay organized financially—not out of fear, but out of love. Life is uncertain, and I wanted to ensure that if there ever came a time when I wasn’t here, my family would have the clarity, tools, and guidance they needed to continue leading with strength and confidence.

From that desire, Ask Father Finance was born.

This site is my way of offering readers the same thoughtful, insightful knowledge, tools, resources, and product recommendations I use to guide my own family. Finance can be confusing—even overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be. My goal is to help families build a solid foundation rooted in what matters most.

My approach is grounded in moral, ethical, and faith-based principles—the same values that shape every financial decision I make for my own household.

Thank you for being here. I’m grateful for your time, and I look forward to navigating this financial journey together.
